The recent flooding here in Washington has impacted our Snohomish County community, affecting several venues and members within our Guild.
Supporting one another is at the heart of what we do, and in moments like this, community matters more than ever.
We are currently working toward organizing Guild-led Flood Clean-Up & Support Day(s), bringing together volunteers to help fellow members with things like:
- Clearing water-damaged items
- Cleanup and resetting spaces
- Organizing inventory or décor
- General hands-on support where it’s needed most
These efforts will be completely volunteer-based and focused on helping affected venues and members recover and regroup.
If you are a Guild member who has been affected or would like to help, please join the conversation in our Facebook Group so that we can better understand the needs and availability. You’re also welcome to DM us or reach out to any board member privately so we can coordinate thoughtfully and respectfully.
We are incredibly grateful to be part of a community that doesn’t just work alongside one another, but truly shows up when it matters most.
